STORY

The Valleverde company was founded in 1969 in Coriano, a small town located in the hills between Rimini and Riccione. The founder and current President of the company is Mr. Armando Arcangeli whose main idea is "The plus value of the product": comfort and fashion all in one. The most important innovation was the soft internal plantar to be placed inside the shoe.

Thirty years ago the plantar was practically unknown, therefore he was the first person to ideate it. Indeed, this was an immediate success. The only thing that was missing was the public recognition of the company’s name. Towards the end of the 70’s a massive marketing strategy started and thanks to advertisements and promotions Valleverde started to be known as the " Comfort and Fashion" brand for millions of people.

The company quickly developed and while in the beginning it produced approximately 150 models of shoes, nowadays Valleverde produces about 2000 different models. At the beginning Valleverde used to produce only Women's shoes, then it also started to produce other lines of shoes: Men's line in 1983, Children's shoes in 1989 and leather goods and travel accessories in 1996. In 2007 Valleverde introduced leather clothing, in particular woman and man jackets, while in 2009 ties and sunglasses completed the wide Collection. Nowadays Valleverde sells about three million pairs of shoes a year and it has 1500 shops all around the world, 250 of which are exclusively Valleverde. The annual turnover of the company is about 70 million Euro.
